Bionos at the forefront of TXVector research

We are excited to share Bionos’ latest scientific publication: "Evaluation of the In Vivo Skin Penetration of TXVector by Confocal Raman Spectroscopy", recently published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology.

This study marks a significant advancement in dermatological research. Using cutting-edge confocal Raman spectroscopy technology, the research demonstrates that TXVector, an esterified formulation of tranexamic acid (TXA), significantly enhances TXA’s permeability, increasing its penetration up to 3.8 times compared to traditional formulations.

Key Findings:

• 2.1x higher absorption compared to TXA 3%.
• 3.8x higher absorption compared to TXA 1%.
• Penetration flux increased by 107%-280%.

Thanks to in vivo confocal Raman spectroscopy, the study enabled non-invasive, real-time analysis of product penetration and skin composition at various depths, opening new horizons for the development of effective delivery systems.
