The knowledge of the soil, subsurface, and their structural and compositional characteristics is of fundamental importance in identifying and properly exploiting resources, such as water.
LabAnalysis Environmental Science can provide consultancy for the preparation of sampling and characterization plans. Thanks to specialized technicians, it offers the possibility of sampling throughout the entire Italian territory.
Characterization and remediation
LabAnalysis Environmental Science analyzes all parameters required by the current legislation Legislative Decree 3 April 2006, n. 152 and subsequent amendments, including high-resolution dioxins and furans, PCBs, pesticides, PAHs, VOCs, metals, hydrocarbons, asbestos, etc., characterizing sites intended for industrial/commercial use as well as green/residential use.
LabAnalysis Environmental Science prepares sampling and analysis plans preliminary to the elaboration of Risk Analyses. Among the special services, there are metal speciation analyses to differentiate the elemental form from ionic forms.
Sediment
LabAnalysis Environmental Science applies analytical methods for the analysis of marine and river sediments, assessing environmental quality standards. Precision, speed, and reliability are ensured for all parameters required by applicable regulations.
The classification of marine sediments follows the criteria of weighted integration or tabular criteria provided by current regulations, particularly by Ministerial Decree 15 July 2016, n. 173.
Agronomic soil
In agriculture, it is important to know the physicochemical characteristics of the soil as they deeply influence the quality of various crops.
For this reason, periodic soil analysis is an indispensable support to identify nutrient deficiencies in agricultural productions, as well as imbalances or excess of elements, and to establish the agricultural practices to be used.
LabAnalysis Environmental Science performs soil analyses to facilitate the preparation of appropriate and specific fertilization plans.
Fertilizers
The term fertilizer encompasses substances that, due to their nutrient content or chemical, physical, or biological characteristics, contribute to improving the fertility of agricultural soil or nourishing cultivated plants for their better development.
Fertilizers are divided into:
Fertilizers: Provide crops with the chemical elements of fertility necessary for plants to carry out their vegetative and productive cycles.
Amendments and Correctives: Modify the properties and characteristics (chemical, physical, biological, and mechanical) of soil, improving its suitability for cultivated plant species.
LabAnalysis Environmental Science is capable of meeting customer needs by conducting in-house analyses of the main required parameters, including compliance with Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 of the European Parliament and the Council dated 05/06/2019.
