CEN/TC 444 - European Workshop on Microplastics

Plastic pollution and microplastics have become an issue of emerging concern. It is a topic that has been placed high on national, European and International agenda's. The European Technical Commission CEN/TC 444 Environmental characterisation of solid matrices is welcoming experts to participate in a workshop on microplastics. Aim of the workshop is to create a picture of the current research initiatives on microplastics. In addition, the challenges and role of standardization will be discussed.
