LabAnalysis acquires ISPE and Rigano Laboratories

LabAnalysis takes a further step in its growth path both internal and through acquisitions, as stated in the medium-term strategic plan.

The company, successfully operating for over 40 years in the fields of chemical-physical analysis, testing and consulting in various business as pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food, environmental, is today one of the leader in these sectors in Italy.

Its President Luigino Maggi has announced the acquisition of two internationally renowned companies for services to the cosmetic industry: ISPE and Rigano Laboratories.

Their activity, evaluations of safety, efficacy and sensory profile, formulations of cosmetics and ingredients, regulatory norms, fits well with the ones of LabAnalysis. It allows to add new pieces to the network of laboratories and to broaden Group’s expertise and capacity in the above areas.

An important move is thus made towards the strategic evolution of the Group that, through this operation, integrates and completes the services in the Health and Wellness Division.

Sebastiano and Luigi Rigano, who have led the two companies for three decades and contributed with the staff to their development, will continue to work with the new management to bring their international experience and ensure an orderly transition.

In this acquisition, LabAnalysis was assisted by Kon Group as financial advisor and by the GDC Corporate & Tax firm for tax and contractual aspects.
