Introduction to legislation on MOCAs: plastics, rubber and steel
- Start 4 November 2024, 10:00
- End 4 November 2024, 13:00
MOCAs (Materials and Objects in Contact with Food) can be composed of a wide range of materials such as plastics, paper and metals. They are used at all stages of the food chain, from production to transport and final storage.
The main problem arises when MOCAs can become a source of food contamination. This happens if they do not comply with food safety regulations. For this reason, many countries have introduced numerous regulations for the production, use and handling of MOCAs.
From the need to stay up-to-date with the latest Food Contact regulations comes the course on Wednesday 10 April 2024 from 10:00 to 13:00.
